Thermal solar systems Thermal solar technology uses the sun's radiation to generate heat. The absorbed solar energy heats water as a transfer medium (heating water), which is kept ready for consumption in solar storage tanks. Solar collectors reduce the energy consumption of the heating system and provide residential heat and hot water without pollutant emissions. Collectors can be harmoniously integrated into any roof, as on-roof, in-roof, flat-roof or pitched-roof installations, also with tracking in the direction of the sun.
