Around 1896, the great-grandfather, originally from northern Italy, founded a construction company that continues to this day.

30 years ago, the construction company added another string to its bow, specializing in the supply and installation of living-room fireplaces. Sambiagio Style SA is based in Lignières. The company is managed by Hugues-Alain and Hugo Sambiagio.

Terracotta selected for its aesthetic appeal, its resistance to thermal shock (it withstands 1590° C., whereas the maximum operating temperature is 500° C.) and above all for its ability to store heat.

Chamotte (crushed refractory earth) mixed with aluminous cement and metal fibers forms the basis of our refractory concrete. The concrete withstands temperatures of up to 1250°C, and its three-dimensional fibrous reinforcement prevents cracking.

Specially designed shape. Round and low, the Grand-mère oven ensures perfect baking homogeneity, efficient heat radiation and excellent draught. You'll reduce your wood consumption by at least 30% compared with a conventional oven.
Delivered as a kit with installation instructions and a user and recipe book. You can assemble it yourself or leave it to a craftsman. We also provide technical assistance by telephone during normal working hours.
