Steam pipe (high temperature)

Steam pipes have an enormous combustion power. If the skin comes into contact with a steam pipe, the consequences can be fatal. In addition to the danger of this equipment, it transports a lot of valuable energy. Here we use high quality insulations such as glass wool or rock wool, which have a maximum insulating power. Thus the energy is secured and can be transported from A to B without losses. Thus also burnings are avoided.

House connections (IWB).

IWB district heating comes from both non-renewable and renewable energy sources. This heat is generated in the IWB power plants Kehrichtverwertungsanlage Basel, the Holzkraftwerk Basel and the combined heat and power plants Volta, Rosental and Bahnhof. It is suitable for heating, water heating and as process steam.
