**Photovoltaics

**Heat pumps

Heat pumps are the first choice when it comes to combining heating cost savings and environmentally friendly heat generation. This is because the energy used by a heat pump is provided by the environment in unlimited quantities and free of charge. The full-fledged heating system requires only a small amount of electricity for the drive and pump to harness this energy.

Air / Water

Air / water heat pumps are also suitable for high flow temperatures and thus for modernization (WP Oskar Waterkotte 1972)

Air-to-water heat pumps with nominal heat outputs of 5 to 50 kW are particularly suitable for replacing existing oil and gas heating systems and for cost-optimized use in new buildings. Flow temperatures of up to 65 °C can be achieved - even at winter outdoor temperatures. This means that an air/water heat pump can also be installed very well in older heating systems with radiators. To increase efficiency, it is advisable to replace individual radiators with low-temperature radiators.
