Our history Founding our firm was then-owner Dante Godi, born in the locality of Vezia. His wealth of experience, accumulated during his apprenticeship with the Inaudi brothers, led to the opening, in 1941, of Godi & Gili, a company that in a short time established itself among the protagonists of the plumbing and heating and plumbing market in Lugano. Subsequent changes saw first his brother Aldo (from 1946 to 1960) and then his son Gianni Godi (from 1967 to 1974) join the firm. Precisely in '74, after the death of his father Dante, the company came under the control of Gianni Godi, a dynamic executive with a modern and forward-looking vision of the business. The company's evolution underwent an abrupt acceleration. A great many projects of some importance were carried out in the Lugano area, both in the public and private sectors.
