Our History History of Innosan SA

Mario Cocciolo Sr. named his company "INNOSAN SA" because he believed and continues to believe that in the health care industry, innovation is not only possible, but indispensable.

Training time

A man from the south (from that Salento (Apulia) region that has many characteristics to get noticed and loved), he landed in Switzerland, in Zurich, on February 2, 1962, and started from the ground up, but always with the conviction that it is necessary to lay deep foundations if you want to build something good and lasting. Foundations that need two anchor points: vast and secure professionalism and a convinced and openness on the ground.

In the sphere of work, Mario Cocciolo Sr. has never said he has completely arrived or been satisfied, aiming for cutting-edge professional specialization: the qualification in technical marketing and the attainment of the position of company head and director represent only two aspects of his constant drive to progress. His desire to be rooted in the territory went hand in hand with his conviction that Switzerland (and concretely, Ticino) were and are his homeland, to the point of naturalizing himself a Swiss citizen, and his trajectories (not only of peaceful coexistence, but of seeking understanding, collaborating and launching activities for the common good) went continuously in many directions. Even today there are many who remember him as an assistant referee in the National Football League (Serie A), moreover as a referee of international youth tournaments and all categories in Canton Ticino, as an inspector in the student referee sector, up to being president of the referee association Fischietti Luganesi ... in total 32 years of activity. A true example of convinced and operational integration, all the more to be appreciated since it was achieved in years when discourses were not always entirely reconciled.
