Stalder R. GmbH (Entlebuch)

History In 1960 the brothers Alfred and Adolf Krummenacher founded an installation company for heating and sanitary installations in Entlebuch. At that time, mainly simple bathrooms, stove heaters and oil heaters were installed. In 1970 the company was expanded by two employees, Hermann Wigger and Ruedi Stalder.

In the past 13 years the company has carried out various large as well as smaller works. In 1983 Adolf Krummenacher sold the sole proprietorship to Ruedi and Emilie Stalder-Bieri for health reasons. The workshop as well as the storage facilities were continued in the Lehn. In 1987, the company was allowed to move into a new workshop with storage facilities in Russacher. The workshop was a big milestone for the Stalder company. In 1994 the sole proprietorship of Ruedi and Emilie Stalder - Bieri was converted into a corporate form, thus creating another step for a healthy future.

In the past years the techniques of the heating engineers as well as sanitary installations were changed massively. Through continuous training as well as its own initiative, the company has recognized and realized many innovations. For example, the first wood storage systems were built in 1985, and the oldest heat pumps and solar systems are now over 30 years old.

In 1993, son Ruedi was hired as a fitter in the parental business. Ruedi gained further experience with various further education courses. Commercial school, a federal certificate as well as basic knowledge of electrical engineering are part of a good education in building services today. Today, the digitalization of the plans is a great relief for the planning of heating and sanitary installations. Today, almost all plans are read in CAD, drawn as a project and released for execution for installation. Since 1999, apprentices have been trained constantly.

The company Stalder GmbH could be passed on to the current generation in 2006. Since August 2019 Martin Stalder from trained installer works in another generation. Thus, with Emilie Stalder currently 3 generations are working in the company. A major milestone was the construction of an additional commercial hall in 2016.

Today the company employs about 14 people.

In 2020, the company will celebrate its 60th anniversary. A special thank you goes to our employees and apprentices.
